Style in beach dresses
This summer, the beaches of Normandy were perfect hot sand and some 20 degrees in the water!!
On a sunny day in early August, I made the round trip Paris-Deauville with two friends. Nothing better than a trip to the beach to leave hot and polluted Paris!
The opportunity to show you 2 of my favorite beach dresses 🙂
For me, a beach dress must be simple and easy to remove but also stay stylish to go to the restaurant and walk briefly out of the sand without feeling too naked 😉 Well I admit I accept myself but photos in swimsuit are not yet relevant : -l I hope that one day I will feel good enough in my body to be able to post here some swimsuit photos but for now no …
Self-acceptance and self-confidence come in stages, we are not all at the same stages, trust yourself if you do not feel like wearing this or that clothing at the moment, listen to yourself, do not force yourself to please others or by challenge.
By experience spending a day in a clothing in which you are terribly uncomfortable, it looks more like a day in hell !! And all this is not a question of weight, we can all have complex but girls everything is in the head!
A few years ago, although I was much thinner I was very bad in my body and I never dared to wear short dresses or necklines and even less post photos of me. I had a tendency to flee the cameras … Like what we can all evolve, learn to love and exceed our complexes.
Love yourself, life will make you happy #BodyPositive 🙂
Beach dress #1
This dress has already 2 summers, it comes from BODEN
It fine veil and its slits on the sides of the legs make it the perfect beach dress, it stays nice even out of the sand 😉
I like its details: link at the waist with fluo pink pompoms, little buttons all along, roll-up sleeves and printed “big flowers” typically English and “Boden”.
Beach dress #2
A beach dress MONKI white shirt version – they reissued the dress shirt this year again, you can find it in different colors. I also have it in light blue!
This dress is very practical, it does not fear anything, it has pockets, is unbuttoned as we want it is the short dress all the way to the beach but its shirt form with sleeves cuffs make an elegant beach dress 😉
And for accessories, I wear:
- HEADICT Hat
- PRADA Sunglasses
- OPI Nail polish on the feet: “Red My Fortune Cookie” (OK, we do not really see it on the photos 😉 I grant you!)
Many thanks to Cynthia K. for the photos 🙂
